Broken when sliding into third base during the first game, the first inning, and my first at bat of the World Series in Seattle.

One plate, and 8 screws later....

Sunday Fun-Day......

Like most of my Sunday's in the summer, yesterday was softball Sunday. The day started out with an 8:15 am infield practice, followed up by two games (we won both game).

After the games, we found out that we are going to Seattle for the N.A.G.A.A.A Softball World Series, which is the last week in August. Wahooo!!!!!

Then when I got home, there was a street party on my block, with an amazing band playing called Black Landlord.

So I woke up this morning to dripping water. I thought I just forgot to turn off the shower and went back to bed. That is until I got out of bed and stepped onto the wet carpet, looked up and saw that water was dripping from the ceiling.

So I have officially gone through my first problem with my house, and what perfect timing, right before the holidays.

I called my insurance company, they called for a contractor to tarp the roof as a temp fix, while I contact the roofer that supplied the 10 year warranty.

Oh the Joys.

Well I figured it was time for me to actually do something with my Uncle_Sherwin account. I can't find the spell check on this thing so I take no responsibility for any spelling mistakes.
